Hugo Ekitike to Liverpool a ‘done deal’ as huge £79m transfer details revealed

Liverpool are on the verge of completing the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike.
An agreement between the two clubs has reache and the 23-year-old is expected to finalise the deal before flying out to join his new team-mates in Hong Kong.
That Liverpool will pay an initial £69m fee. With potentially a further £10m to be paid in add-ons.
Ekitike, who has made five appearances for the France U21 side. But has not capped at senior level, is expected to sign a six-year contract.
The striker had been targeted by Newcastle. But the Magpies opted not to pursue the transfer after an initial £65m bid was rejected.
Ekitike scored 22 goals in 48 appearances for Frankfurt last season, in what was the best goal-scoring campaign of his career to date.
His arrival continues a big summer of spending for Premier League champions Liverpool.
